Are your items new or preloved?
Please be mindful that some items may be pre-loved and have minor wear whilst other items will be in excellent condition, new with tags or worn only once. We will be as transparent as possible in communicating the condition as follows:
GOOD:- this item has been preloved—some imperfections will be clearly stated in the description of the item and a visual reference via closely zoomed photographs will highlight obvious signs of wear.
VERY GOOD:- this item has been treasured and carefully cared for—it may have been reserved for special occasion dressing. Description of the item will clearly identify any minor signs of wear.
EXCELLENT:- this item is ‘as new’—mainly reserved to the confines of a wardrobe, may also be classified as ‘only worn once’ or ‘never used’ with tags intact.
Are the items real or do you sell fakes?
All our items are 100% genuine. We assess each item to ensure they are authentic. We will provide authentication and/or proof of purchase if obtained from the consignor.

What do you consign?
We consign mid to high-end designer brands and carefully consider new and excellent condition authentic pre-loved luxury vintage and contemporary designer clothing, bags and accessories.
All items must be clean with no signs of damage or defects.
We will not accept fakes, copies, counterfeits or stolen goods. Any breach will be reported to police.
How to consign
What percentage does the consignor receive?
The Consignor fee is taken as a percentage of the final sale price and is as follows:
- 60% - for all items with a sale price under $1000
- 70% - for all items with a sale price over $1000
How long do you consign items for?
Approximately 12-16 weeks.
After this period any unsold items will be returned or donated to our charity of choice or that of the consignors.
What happens if my products are damaged or stolen whilst on consignment?
During the agreed consignment period, style—edit takes full responsibility for your items.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, ApplePay and Bank Transfer
I’m an international customer, is my order charged in my currency?
All orders are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD). If you are ordering from outside Australia, and your bank account is held in a different currency, you can still place and order - your currency will automatically be converted to AUD when you complete the transaction. The conversion rate varies from day to day with the current exchange rate. Many banks also charge a small currency conversion fee, contact your bank for details. Therefore, we are not able to take responsibility if there is a discrepancy in the final amount charged to you.
What are my shipping and delivery options?
Some areas of Melbourne qualify for our free delivery service. If you live within a 20km radius from Richmond, Melbourne we will personally deliver your items safely to you. If your address qualifies for our delivery service "local delivery" will appear as an option on the Shipping page upon checkout.

How do I track my domestic order?
When your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with a tracking number to your nominated email address. You can also log into sendle via the link here to check the status of your order.
My international order has arrived in my Country, but it hasn’t been delivered, why?
Your parcel is likely being held by customs awaiting payment of duties and taxes.
How much in duties and taxes will I be required to pay?
When your order arrives at its destination you will be required to pay all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to.
Do you deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers in Australia?
We have partnered with Sendle, unfortunately Sendle can’t deliver to Australia Post-owned properties (this includes post offices, PO boxes, locked bags, parcel lockers or parcel collect locations) because Australia Post restricts delivery to these locations. To read more press here
Do you deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers Internationally?
Yes, we can deliver to PO Boxes and Parcel Lockers for international deliveries, Sendle partners with all of the major postal providers around the globe. However, there are certain countries that will only accept shipments labelled with a P.O. Box address. Parcels travelling to these destinations will be returned to the sender if no P.O. What happens if an order goes missing?
If you have not received your parcel and it is past the expected delivery date please contact us via email firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I return my order?
We do not accept returns of any items unless in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us at email@example.com
To the extent permitted by law, we do not offer refunds or exchanges. We do our best to give accurate information in regard to all items posted on our account in accordance with the condition standards criteria, listed below.
We do not exchange for change of mind or if an item does not fit. Please take the time to read product descriptions and inspect images before purchasing.
Please be mindful that some preloved items may have minor wear whilst other items will be in excellent condition, new with tags or worn only once. We will be transparent in communicating the condition and price accordingly.
